Queen and Court Pageant

The Constitution Queen pageant is more than just a pageant. It is a chance to build a strong foundation on history. The pageant first started all the way back in 1957! Just 5 years after the Constitution Day Committees creation. The goal of this amazing tradition is to continue to help educate our youth about the importance of our history as a nation and the history of our city as Constitution Town and how one person can make a difference.

Each year there is a group of young people who decide to stand up and be courageous and go for their goal. The goal they all set out to be is our Constitution Queen and Court. When becoming Queen and Court, these young ladies have a chance to change anything they put their minds to. They get to participate in community events, learn more about the history of Louisville, be involved in decision-making processes and the most important of all, is to be a role model and ambassador of our great community.

The process of the pageant is a three-category judged event. These events break down into different sub-topics and all events are judged by a third party judging system. All results are final. The events are; interview process, style show and main night of the pageant. A sample of what judging is based on is; poise, confidence, personality, and knowledge of event history. All of this is finalized on the last night of the main event and winners are announced at the end of the pageant. Then the new Queen and Court are crowned and start a new journey of experiences and memories within and out of our community.
